Our company is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.


  • Provide mentoring and training to internal BI and business teams on use of BI tools and capabilities;
  • Collaborates with business and IT teams to deliver fully functional BI deliverables that are actionable and meet business needs;
  • Define best practices and provide work direction to junior BI team members;
  • Coordinate and conduct scheduled reviews of work orders with respective business teams and team members;
  • Data mining;
  • Other data visualization products;
  • Support the visual analytics platforms and solutions used throughout the organization to drive insights;
  • Continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances;
  • Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes;
  • Develop and maintain a model of GAF’s advanced analytics process that follows the industry-standard processes (i.e. CRISP-DM model);
  • Create prototypes and authoring detailed interaction specifications (i.e. Tableau workbook documentation and use cases);
  • Reporting;
  • Partner with other functions across IT to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality, and timeliness of solutions;
  • Ensure self and development team adheres to GAF design and development patterns and standards;
  • May write code to automate reports and templates when consolidate data into reports/dashboards.

  • Strong ability to plan and deliver focused training sessions to business users;
  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously;
  • Strong ability to develop visualization solutions based on requirements and specifications;
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities;
  • Experience with cloud analytics platforms (Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure);
  • 3+ years’ experience in working in an Agile work environment;
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences and to write clearly;
  • Experience with creating reports and data visualizations in a Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau);
  • Partners with the business operations to ensure effective design of decision support solutions;
  • Ability to work with an iterative and incremental development environment;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience developing reporting solutions using MicroStrategy;
  • Hands-on experience running queries and creating reports.
