Our company is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and interpreting Federal Government regulations including FAR and DFAR while ensuring compliance with DCAA;
  • Acting as an advisor to the management team regarding legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations;
  • Manages the process for updating contract information in contract’s database ensuring all data is current and complete;
  • Relationship Management (Internal and External Customers and Suppliers);
  • Administers the contract management system;
  • Proactively line manages part of the SBU/BU Commercial Team and provides organisational advice, training, development and guidance to the team;
  • Negotiates proposals, contract modifications, and agreements as required within the limits of authority delegated by the upper management;
  • Lead in contract closedown/exit activities;
  • Obligation Management;
  • Provides Business Context Training to other Functions within the Commercial Team;
  • Assignment and support to high visibility Integrated Program Team (IPT) within the business;
  • Leads/participates in Commercial Team improvement projects and initiatives;
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretations of terms and conditions of assigned SBU;
  • Monitors and reports on performance against contracts;
  • Manage purchase orders.

Requirements:

  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience;
  • Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and other business arrangements;
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS;
  • SAP experience;
  • Advanced proficiency in software programs such as: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Ability to contribute to negotiation strategy and lead negotiations.
