Our company is looking for a Senior Contracts Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Documentation of acceptance, review of the final invoice prior to issuance of final payment, and close-out;
  • Recommends business solutions to day-to-day contractual challenges;
  • Provides cost and price analysis recommendations as requested regarding independent government estimates to determine price reasonableness;
  • Provides procurement assistance, advice, and guidance to the customer as requested;
  • Engage with external customers and suppliers regarding contract terms;
  • Demonstrated experience to identify and successfully solve problems using available facts and data;
  • Have expanded conceptual and practical knowledge of contract review process, meaning of terms and clauses and acceptable level of risk for the company;
  • Working knowledge of non-disclosure agreements;
  • Manage entire contract process and serve as the primary resource to the Company on contractual matters;
  • Stay up to date on relevant legal frameworks, including FAR and DFARS;
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and develop customer promoters through clear communication and exceptional delivery;
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Able to explain complex information related to contract review process to others in straightforward situation;
  • Independently review and edit agreements to meet the contractual requirements established by the Company;
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience is required.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently and as part of a team;
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 24 hours of coursework in business or a related field;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Eligible for NACLC/Tier 3 Secret Investigation for a Secret clearance;
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university;
