Our company is looking for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with PMO (and other IT functions as required) on projects, support, and/or training activities;
  • Perform stabilization, break/fix and other maintenance activity (including upgrading applications);
  • Coordinate and respond to audit requests from both the internal and external audit teams;
  • Develop and document policy, standards, procedures and checklists;
  • Participate in the prioritization of user requests and determination of work estimates;
  • Assist users with Basware support requests;
  • Analysis and configuration of Basware for organization units, API job monitoring, user and role maintenance;
  • Essbase functional and technical support for Corporate Budgeting and Sales Planning;
  • Work with the MGM user community to identify business issues and define requests;
  • Work with other MTG (Media Technology Group) areas to update and configure solutions to meet business needs or streamline processes;
  • Assist users during training in the use of supported systems;
  • Maintain a proficiency and comprehension of the business processes from both a technical and functional perspective;
  • Participate in periodic system maintenance and monitoring activities;
  • Provide on-going support and assistance with financial management applications;
  • Produce and maintain procedural and technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on functional experience and/or demonstrated proficiency in EPM-related business processes: Finance & Management reporting, FP&A, Analytics;
  • Experience using systems designed to manage issues, changes and testing (e.g. Service Manager, Rational Team Concert, ALM);
  • 3+ years of SAP MM or FI configuration experience (or) 3+ years of Essbase development/configuration;
  • CPA or CMA license, or equivalent;
  • Familiar with Accounting, Accounts Payable principles, practices and procedures;
  • Experience delivering training to end users;
  • Ability to work independently under moderate direction and supervision on assigned priorities and projects;
  • Clear understanding of the underlying data structure and table relationships within the SAP application;
  • Advance proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel a must);
  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience;
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience with financial or accounting, preferably in a large SAP installation;
  • Experience working for large company and within a matrix organization;
  • 3-5 years experience with complex system integration projects;
