Our company is looking for a Senior IT Program Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and drive delivery of program plan objectives, coordinating activities across multiple departments and projects to achieve program goals;
  • Provide guidance and leadership to a matrixed Program & Project Team;
  • Reviews and approves project plans for conformance to program strategy, program plan and schedule;
  • Accountable to program stakeholders and senior management for schedule, budget, quality and outcome of all program elements;
  • Complies fully with all Bank Operational policies and procedures and completes all required training;
  • Manage large complex programs and projects as needs dictate;
  • Leads and facilitates high-level meetings for program plan requirements and to develop schedules and milestone measurements;
  • Communication liaison with key stakeholders, coordinating and holding periodic briefings/status updates;
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning;
  • Adhere to CNB IT Project Management Guidelines and delivery methodologies when applicable;
  • Define and establish program and governance structures to support successful delivery and manage program risk.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 14 years in a technical project and/or program management role;
  • Proficiency in project planning and control techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects. Unclassified;
  • Ability to identify and understand complex problems/issues and develop solutions;
  • Relevant industry knowledge of widely used systems and subsystems;
  • Proven ability to manage teams, and have demonstrated self-initiative and leadership skills;
  • Must possess and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI for the life of the contract;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Experience with group facilitation- Ability to manage large-scale projects;
  • Ability to interpret business objectives and successfully incorporate those objectives into the project(s);
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to present to senior management, Division Chiefs and COR;
  • Possess the skill sets to supervise contractor employees. Be proficient in conflict resolution;
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field of study, with 10-15 years of equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum 8 years banking/financial services and/or technology industry experience;
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines and work effectively within time constraints;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
