Our company is looking for a Senior Media Buyer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Concept and implement strategies for campaign creation;
  • Manage daily execution of digital media campaigns across multiple platforms;
  • Make hands-on bid updates to meet and exceed KPI and CPL targets;
  • Manage budgets including revenue and spend to hit ROI goals;
  • Keep up to date with best practices and strategies;
  • Run A/B and multi-variate tests on landing pages, creative, messaging and user experiences;
  • Perform competitive research and other tasks as needed;
  • Must have a strong understanding of the media buying process and Nielsen books;
  • Comfortable negotiating with various stations/networks;
  • Responsible for negotiating and buying local and/or national broadcast and/or cable TV, Radio and other media as needed;
  • Ensure all media goals and brand ROI goals are being achieved;
  • Reconcile vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies;
  • Negotiate DRTV media schedules and optimize buys based on performance;
  • Overseeing the accurate reporting of campaigns through Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools;
  • Keeping the Planning team informed of budget pacing and forecasting, proactively flag any concerns with pacing and/or meeting KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail are essential;
  • Experience with lead generation in the online space;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Advanced Facebook, Google Display Network, Yahoo Gemini, Taboola and MS Excel skills are required;
  • Ability to distill complex and technical concepts in basic terms;
  • 3-5 years of media buying experience;
  • Experience buying media in multiple markets – 10+ markets preferred;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Microsoft Excel for basic math formulas;
  • Must have experience working in FreeWheel (Strata);
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Solid Communication ability;
  • 3-5 years or more experience as a media buyer – Direct Response preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree.
