Senior Project Management Consultant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Project Management Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Experience selling IT services or IT staffing;
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with the Microsoft field teams;
- Ability to effectively present to both IT and business leaders;
- MBA or Master’s in Finance;
- Use of a variety of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, etc.);
- Excellent client/customer interaction and communication skills;
- Experience in MS Project Server or other PPM tools (such as Clarity, Planview or Daptiv);
- PMP Certification;
- Project management experience to have covered multiple industries; IT, engineering, and/or manufacturing industry experience is preferred;
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, such as Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Administration;
- Organizational Change Management capabilities;
- Engage proactively and confidently large stakeholder groups to ensure delivery on time;
- Lead and drive successful execution of projects; ensuring strong project governance, change management, financial, schedule, and scope management;
- Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks and projects;
- Effectively assess and manage risks and issues, with experience in a PMO, Program or Portfolio management environment.
Requirements:
- Strong presence, personality and leadership;
- Articulate, confident, poised;
- Minimum of 3 years of .Net development with at least 1 year using the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0 or later;
- Excellent client/customer interaction and communication skills;
- Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives;
- MBA or Master’s in Finance;
- Minimum of 1 year as a Web Application Developer;
- Project management experience to have covered multiple industries; IT, engineering, and/or manufacturing industry experience is preferred;
- PMP Certification;
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, such as Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Administration;
- Ability to develop and unit test custom software solutions;
- Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks and projects;
- Resourceful and self-sufficient in finding help and tools to do your job;
- Ability to design and develop databases in SQL Server;
- Organizational Change Management capabilities.
