Senior Research Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to national thought leadership and work with forecasting team on unique market and industry trends;
- Prepare statistics and analysis for quarterly market reports;
- Update and audit Cushman & Wakefield’s proprietary database;
- Support local brokerage operations and contribute to local business development;
- Provide research information for use by Managing Principal and Brokers in media interviews;
- Develop local thought leadership and publicize market trends and analysis;
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative empirical research on issues related to regional, labor or health economics;
- Conduct literature reviews to related to research topics as instructed by supervisors;
- Collect, clean, and summarize pertinent economic, financial, and demographic data.
Requirements:
- Ability to successfully resolve problems with minimal direction;
- Ability to plan, organize and manage deadlines in changing, fast paced environments;
- Articulate communicator with strong oral and written communication skills;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- 3+ years’ experience in real estate or professional business;
- Professional acumen and demonstrated understanding of the complexities in commercial real estate industry;
- MA or MSc in Economics or related fields; Ph.D. would be a plus;
- Independence and ability to take ownership of each project from start to finish;
- Strong quantitative skills and analytical problem solving required;
- Ability to work as part of a team and perform under deadline pressure;
- Ability to perform spatial analysis using ArcGIS or similar software;
- Secret clearance required;
- MA or MS degree in Mathematics;
- Experience with executing a high profile event for gathering data, analyzing results in line with customer expectations and a defined schedule;
- 2 to 3 years of experience in conducting quantitative research and analysis (survey data, microdata).
