Our company is looking for a Senior Safety Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain OSHA compliance and an overall safe work environment;
  • OSHA record keeping associated with recordable injuries;
  • Offers innovative solutions to solve difficult issues and leads employees and contractors to work in a safe team environment;
  • Manage record keeping for safety and environmental matters;
  • Support and provide leadership for case management of injuries;
  • Participates and/or Lead 6S Teams in developing, improving, and executing programs that align with the companies Key Performance Indicators;
  • Participates in incident investigations and reviews and supports the preparation of relevant documentation using root cause methodologies;
  • Lead plant on individual safety topics as well as train Shop Leaders in development of programs and engagement of all employees;
  • Compile and maintain safety statistics, analyze incident data for trends and prepare advisory or alert communications;
  • Implementation and documentation of EH&S required training;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Enjoy serving others and outwardly possess ambition and drive;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Love the idea of serving others and solving their problems;
  • Prefer you have an associates or BS degree in an OHS discipline;
  • Prefer you have a CHST certification;
  • Want to work in an organization where you are financially rewarded for your efforts;
  • Have a minimum 3 years of relevant safety experience;
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Possess the necessary management and leadership skills to develop, direct, and motivate a team toward a common goal;
  • Desire to work with a team of highly skilled and motivated leaders;
  • Knowledgeable with applicable safety regulations.
