Our company is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • If responsible for personnel management, selects, develops and evaluates staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function;
  • Manages operations and may manage tasks and performance of assigned group of staff in the Supply Chain department, in accordance with the budget;
  • Conduct swivel chair activities to document paper-based logistics data into electronic systems(s);
  • Business process owner for the Drug Product and patient cell logistics activities for global clinical programs and US commercial distribution;
  • Onboard and manage relationships with contract organizations, including establishing agreements, quotes, purchase orders and invoicing;
  • Operations: Collaborate with leadership team on projects to drive efficiency and progress;
  • Manage and/or create vendor metrics to monitor performance;
  • Leadership: Manage, mentor and build skill sets of 1-10 Supply Chain Analysts onsite and offsite;
  • Program Management: Lead onsite and offsite customer engagements, including staffing, deliverables, presentations and billing;
  • Maintain shipment database for all required documents;
  • Select and establish INCO terms, FDA product codes and HTS codes;
  • Communicate: Engage strategic Tier I and Tier II suppliers, vet suppliers and create bid lists;
  • Assist in compliance strategy associated with global trade requirements;
  • Develop shipping forecast with Clinical/Commercial Operations;
  • Lead necessary vendor selection process, creating RFPs, establishing competitive bids and negotiation of agreements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Supply chain/Project related disciplines;
  • 5+ years’ experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aftermarket and/or Supply Chain disciplines with increasing responsibility;
  • Project/Program Management Experience;
  • Demonstrated track record of managing to plan and achieving customer satisfaction;
  • In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required;
  • Must be a US Citizen;
  • Possess excellent attention to detail, project and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with aggressive timelines;
  • BA/BS Degree required and 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain;
  • Problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Supply Chain or Inventory Management certifications preferred;
  • Available for off-hours questions and calls for international sites;
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage change;
  • Start Date: Flexible;
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (written & verbal);
  • Proficient in use of formulas, pivot tables, charts in Excel.
