Our company is looking for a Software Program Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of products to ensure product development procedures are followed;
- Work with marketing and technical experts to scope the project in terms of requirements, resource needs, and timelines;
- Communicate progress to executive staff on a regular basis;
- Maintain project plans, timelines, lead core team meetings and own specific project deliverables.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of project and program management;
- 10 years of experience in project/program management with significant emphasis on successfully executing software projects;
- 5 years of experience with direct management and development of staff;
- Demonstrated experience with project process evaluation and improvement;
- Must be able to clearly define and present ideas, and effectively communicate with all levels of management;
- Must be pro-active with strong prioritization, organization and project coordination skills;
- Significant operational / implementation experience with agile and waterfall software development methodologies;
- Demonstrated experience strategically influencing project execution at a technology or related typeof institution;
- Software Engineering background with systems engineering experience;
- Strong background in project management tools including backlog management, defect management, and collaboration tools.
