Our company is looking for a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in annual review and merit process, including performance management;
- Responsible for new employee orientations and training to support corporate programs as directed;
- Administers Company’s annual scholarship program;
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment;
- Provides employee relations support including conflict resolution, disciplinary action and performance improvement plans;
- Develops presentation materials and forms as requested;
- Manages and administers the tuition reimbursement program;
- HR ad-hoc projects as assigned;
- Contributes to the development of HR programs and processes.
Requirements:
- Experience working with HRIS systems;
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws and best practices;
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment;
- Familiarity with benefits, performance management, and compliance;
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification;
- Demonstrated capability in managing employee relations, as well as promoting and maintaining positive employee relations;
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to travel up to 5%
- Knowledge of federal and state compliance requirements;
- Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and organize and prioritize work;
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality;
- Bachelor’s degree and seven to ten years of Human Resources experience, or demonstrated combination of education, training and experience.
