Our company is looking for a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in annual review and merit process, including performance management;
  • Responsible for new employee orientations and training to support corporate programs as directed;
  • Administers Company’s annual scholarship program;
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment;
  • Provides employee relations support including conflict resolution, disciplinary action and performance improvement plans;
  • Develops presentation materials and forms as requested;
  • Manages and administers the tuition reimbursement program;
  • HR ad-hoc projects as assigned;
  • Contributes to the development of HR programs and processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with HRIS systems;
  • Extensive knowledge of employment laws and best practices;
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment;
  • Familiarity with benefits, performance management, and compliance;
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification;
  • Demonstrated capability in managing employee relations, as well as promoting and maintaining positive employee relations;
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Knowledge of federal and state compliance requirements;
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and organize and prioritize work;
  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality;
  • Bachelor’s degree and seven to ten years of Human Resources experience, or demonstrated combination of education, training and experience.
