Transaction Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Transaction Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop reports and presentations for senior management regarding space utilization and programming;
- Partner with Legal on the review and drafting of proposals, contracts, master service agreements and various ancillary real estate documents;
- Coordinate and manage outside real estate broker and other vendors;
- Coordinate with financial planning for forecasting, budget preparation, scheduling of expenditures and variance analysis;
- Manage Lease Transactions from proposal through post closing activities;
- Provide suggestions and best practices for process and technical improvements relating to the transaction process;
- Track and monitor the day-to-day transaction work and workload of team members;
- Work closely with internal parties such as Lease Administration, Project Management, Facility Management, and Finance/Accounting teams;
- Develop new and grow existing relationships with client(s), vendors, landlords, and other retail users;
- Identify potential issues and take action accordingly;
- Coordinate with account leadership to ensure tracking and reporting of client(s) deliverables;
- Provide training and on-boarding support of new team members and ongoing development of associates;
- Adhere to all state real estate agency requirements;
- Manage, review, and approve a large volume of all types of transactions;
- Manage or execute special projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment;
- Strong financing, budgeting, and pro forma modeling skills;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Demonstrated leadership, self-management, and problem resolution skills;
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and reflect a sense of urgency by meeting or exceeding deadlines;
- Ability to manage, review, and approve a large volume of transactions simultaneously;
- 3+ years relevant work experience in Commercial Real Estate; preferably Lease Negotiation;
- Established relationships with a global network of landlords, brokers, and studio vendors preferred;
- Experience with managing vendor services, contracts and transactions with union and non-union provisions is a plus;
- 10+ years experience in commercial real estate, with in-house corporate experience;
- Must hold or immediately obtain Ohio real state real estate salesperson license;
- Strong preference for studio and entertainment-specific campus transactions management;
- Or any similar combination of education and experience;
- Proficient oral and written communication skills;
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
