Treasury Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Treasury Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned;
- Review Accounts Payable sub ledger for assigned global entities to identify and resolve noted issues;
- Manage compliance with debt agreements;
- Participate in the year-end financial statement audit through effectively responding to specific requests and inquiries from the external audit team;
- Support ongoing compliance requirements related to Medpace’s domestic and global operating model (e.g., FATCA, OFAC, etc.);
- Assist with payment processing and bank account journals for assigned global entities;
- Develop and maintain knowledge of appropriate Medpace Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines; and;
- Assist with managing cash balances by analyzing current cash position and forecasted cash flows for assigned global entities;
- Conduct analyses as needed to support project objectives;
- Maintain strong working relationships with global banking partners.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously in an accurate and on a timely basis; and;
- Demonstrates a strong attention to detail with excellent organization and time management skills;
- Support management in ongoing compliance requirements related to Medpace’s domestic and global operating model (e.g., FATCA, OFAC, etc.);
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft® applications, especially Excel;
- Help plan and perform analyses of cash management activities;
- General knowledge of accounting and treasury principles and processes;
- 0-3 years of relevant experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
