Our company is looking for a VP of Accounting to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise accounting team of five (5) people;
  • Approve all transactional accounting;
  • Process payroll through ADP;
  • Work closely with outside CPA on tax reporting;
  • Administer employee insurance, 401K and other benefits;
  • Manage and oversee all internal controls;
  • Prepares monthly management reports;
  • Oversee all aspects of accounting and reporting for multiple entities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in building and/or leading an Accounting function at scale is required;
  • Experience operating in a leveraged environment preferred;
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality;
  • Strong leadership skills, both direct and indirect. Ability to work well cross-functionally and influence across the organization;
  • Adjusts easily to change, learns quickly, and understands how internal and external factors impact decisions;
  • Experience integrating acquired companies preferred;
  • Public company experience preferred. Experience in growth stage company required;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required;
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fluid, fast-paced environment;
  • Experience operating in a Private Equity environment preferred;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
  • Previous experience in supervisory role;
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail;
  • 15+ years of accounting experience required;
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and Concur a plus.
