Our company is looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy;
  • Accept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrity;
  • Teach socially acceptable replacement behaviors;
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related disorders;
  • Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA;
  • As applicable, provide transportation related to the implementation of activities as directed by the treatment plan;
  • Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior support plan;
  • Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist;
  • Review data and progress reports with Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist in order to strategize program improvements;
  • Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Assists in the creation of instructional materials;
  • Openly flexible and responsible in working with multiple children at one time, when necessary;
  • Attends a variety of in-service training sessions and other related meetings;
  • Desire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities;
  • Clear Criminal Background.

Requirements:

  • Clean background check;
  • Must be a Certified Behavior Technician by BACB.com or have registered to take the RBT exam;
  • Must be a U. S. citizen, legal/permanent resident, or have a valid employment authorization;
  • Must be certified in OSHA, HIV, HIPAA, CPR, and First Aid, or be willing to get them;
  • HS diploma required;
  • One year experience working with children with developmental/ intellectual disabilities preferred;
  • RBT certification preferred;
  • Must be a team player;
  • CPR/BLS certified (or willing to obtain prior to hiring);
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with Autism or related disorders preferred;
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Current TB clearance;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and high attention to detail;
  • Desire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities;
  • Clear Criminal Background.
