Our company is looking for a Business Systems Analyst 4 to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc;
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation;
- Advise clients on requirements for the organization and translate those to programmers and developers;
- Advise clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs;
- Advise management on current system principles and necessary updates and recommendations;
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one s time;
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback;
- Strong knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models;
- Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed;
- Supervise the expansion or modification of system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.
Requirements:
- Facilitate and drive discovery sessions with business and IT stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate into specifications;
- Leadership and management skills in leading technical personnel through the delivery of software development projects;
- Experience with requirements management & project management tools;
- Assist in business Change Management activities;
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with Unix, Oracle and PL/SQL is preferred;
- Thorough working knowledge of the SDLC models/methodologies, IT systems and their direct implementation to projects;
- Demonstrated leadership and attention to detail skills through prior experience at the strategic and tactical/implementation levels;
- Strong analytical and planning skills/experience with IT projects;
- Participate in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing;
- Experience with system/application migration is preferred;
- Advanced knowledge of business and process analysis functions;
- Employee must be available to work evenings and weekends;
- Demonstrated knowledge relating to the design of processes and software across the organization;
- Employee must be available to travel as required;
- A Bachelor’s Degree in related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.
