Our company is looking for a Business Systems Analyst II to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology;
  • Coordinate application development for multiple projects;
  • Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues;
  • Document the cause, effect, and resolution to production issues;
  • Completes unit/functional testing to ensure total functionality is in place. Creates and executes test plans/activities to obtain end user approval;
  • Assist in troubleshooting software application issues;
  • Provide service desk and technical support to users;
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization;
  • Oversee the development, testing and implementation of business systems ensuring solutions adhere to specifications and address business needs;
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications;
  • Provide functional direction and technical expertise to less experienced personnel;
  • Review and monitor the process of projects to ensure accuracy and timeliness and provide periodic reports to management;
  • Create system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to application programmers;
  • Provide ongoing trend analysis or determining current needs and future resource requirement;
  • Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing Experience on the shop floor;
  • Post-secondary degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education;
  • Experience with ERP manufacturing systems;
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, quality assurance staff, system users, documentation staff and management;
  • Ability to forge strong partnerships with vendors, business partners and internal customers;
  • Has worked with shop floor control systems;
  • Proficiency with MS Office software;
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation and ability to travel to other company locations;
  • Must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone;
  • Proven ability to support and configure complex applications;
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize multiple concurrent responsibilities;
  • Experience and knowledge of integrating 3rd party software with other 3rd party vendors or custom applications;
  • Ability to successfully interact with all levels of management, other IT professionals and end-users;
  • Generate detailed documentation for end-user system interactions, user workflows, and UI specifications, providing end-user documentation;
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team-orientated environment.
