Our company is looking for a Director, Network Operations to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Author and publish technical documentation, provide detailed reports documenting the ongoing work, repairs, longer-term issues and new initiatives;
  • Maintain and trouble shoot the integrity and security of the broadcast systems IT networks;
  • Foster client service relationships with key stakeholders and use dashboards to report progress to leadership team;
  • Oversee 24/7 Master Control Operations;
  • Oversee network broadcast and studio technical support teams and systems (hardware, software, storage and networking);
  • Work with outside vendors to achieve strategic and financial goals and consistency;
  • Provide design, installation, integration, and support for broadcast system upgrades and new project deployments.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expert ability in troubleshooting and analysis;
  • Strong leader with a track record of collaboration;
  • Working knowledge of Network infrastructure and operations including Cisco and Extreme Network switches;
  • Working knowledge VM and database environments and configurations;
  • Experience with SAN, LTO and object-based storage systems;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Linux, and Apple operating systems;
  • 10+ years’ experience in broadcast media operations;
  • Experience with production/post-production systems (Avid, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Chyron based Graphic Systems, etc.);
  • Experience with managing IP addressing, file and directory permissions, and networking concepts;
  • 5+ years’ experience in network or broadcast operations management.
