ETL Pentaho Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a ETL Pentaho Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- The individual will collaborate and partner with technical and business team to develop and deliver solution as per strategies, requirement, road-map;
- Perform all other related duties/tasks as assigned;
- Participate on interdepartmental teams to support organizational goals;
- Provide s/w solutions to technically challenging business requirements (complex transformations, high data volume);
- Responsible for all Data Management and Data Exchanges with all parties interfacing with Xfinity Mobile.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
- Expert in reading and interpreting data models and ER diagrams and translating them into ELT or ETL code;
- Know Data Warehousing methodologies (Kimball Dimensional Modeling, Inmon EDW concepts);
- Ability to communicate with Product Owners and Business owners to understand requirements;
- Skills in navigating a large organization in order to accomplish results required;
- Very Good communication skills;
- Ability to initiate and follow through on complex projects of both short- and long-term duration required;
- Disciplined scrum practitioner – task management, daily updates, stand up and other scrum ceremonies;
- Excellent at data analysis and problem analysis.
