Our company is looking for a Industrial Security Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participates in Government security audits and executes annual self-inspections;
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies;
  • Interacts with senior/executive management on matters pertaining to security policy and procedures;
  • Acts as primary contact for ensuring the delivery of security briefings, awareness education and training;
  • Investigates security violations, incident and prepares reports with administrative inquiries;
  • Execute the site insider-threat program;
  • Conduct studies and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations;
  • Provides prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD form 254’s and security guidance;
  • Development, implementation and oversight of security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Programs and desktop publishing application software and hardware;
  • Completed a CSSO Course with an IC customer, within the past 5 years;
  • Experience working in teams and matrix environments;
  • Completed CDSE Facility Security Officer (FSO) certification;
  • Good writing and communication skills required;
  • Knowledge of access control and alarm maintenance;
  • Ability to travel to customer locations upon request;
  • Working knowledge of applicable guides and government systems – NISPOM, NCAISS, NISS, DISS, JPAS, and Eqip. Threat and OPSEC programs;
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or 5 years of relevant experience/education;
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Six-Sigma methodology or equivalent training;
  • Working knowledge of SIMS (or other personnel database management system);
  • Familiarity with the Continuous Evaluation Program and Risk Management Framework;
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph (most recent Tier 5 investigation within the last 4 years);
  • All applicants must be able to obtain a DHS security clearance.
