Master Data Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Master Data Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive harmonized industry-best practice process allowing minor configurations (as necessary) with no customizations;
- Coordinate involvement of Stryker SMEs in key project activities;
- Own Stryker process deliverables and tasks for Enterprise ERP Master data;
- Develop Enterprise ERP Master Data quality measures and practices;
- Participate in testing cycles to ensure data accuracy and integrity;
- Develop Enterprise ERP Master Data management measures and practices;
- Support the success of Accelerate by executing the program’s global data management activities;
- Contribute to establishing policies and procedures for Enterprise ERP Master Data;
- Participate in testing activities;
- Work with the Accelerate program and Stryker leaders to more broadly influence Stryker to a more mature data management-oriented culture;
- Responsible for the timely completion of project activities within their project track, create and maintain team deliverables;
- Acts as a change agent for Master Data for Stryker;
- Drive adoption of to-be Enterprise ERP Master Data models to align with ERP capabilities and gain alignment with the business;
- Facilitate rapid decisions and the completion of Key Configuration Decisions;
- Partner and collaborate with Global Process Owners to ensure data standards align across processes and within the Enterprise ERP data framework.
Requirements:
- Able to lead and motivate global cross-functional teams;
- Demonstrated ability to develop detailed process plans using BPM tools and methods;
- ‘Player-manager’ who can manage resources, track status as well as complete deliverables;
- Ability to organize, evaluate, and produce complex data;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate problem solving teams;
- Deep and broad knowledge of Master Data Management;
- Exhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges;
- Strong Microsoft Office skillsets;
- Technical and business knowledge to solve problems, execute data analysis and data cleansing processes;
- Understanding of quality system;
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills;
- Leader who collaborates effectively across Stryker divisions and regions, has strong influence, can build consensus and drive change;
- Ability to think strategically while operating tactically to implement a Global Template solution;
- Advanced excel skill set (i.e. VLookup, Pivot Tables).
