Our company is looking for a Plant Quality Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • You will conduct and/or implement advanced statistical analysis and process capabilities for processes and products;
  • You will manage all change control and line validation processes again with a hands on mentality;
  • May have some travel (less than 10% expected);
  • Report to top management the performance of the Integrated Management System, including quality and environmental performance;
  • Adhere to all automotive industry standards and regulations;
  • Participate in product development processes to increase efficiency and customer requirement standards;
  • Serve as the head liaison during both customer and supplier reviews/communication;
  • Serve as primary contact for customer and quality audits;
  • Maintain all quality standards to meet customer requirements;
  • Perform all necessary supervisory duties as required;
  • Oversee all external and internal quality audits;
  • Review and adjust any quality assurance instructions and assembly specifications;
  • Collaborate with R&D department during the stages of industrialization through production;
  • Occasional overtime may be required;
  • Ensures requirements of the ISO Quality Management System are met.

Requirements:

  • Must have ability to progress up in future Plant Management roles and/or Director level roles;
  • A minimum of 4 + years’ experience with a mixture of quality and operations leadership;
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office products;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field of study, or equivalent experience along with High School diploma or GED;
  • Additionally, we highly prefer an individual with a solid manufacturing excellence/TPM background;
  • We expect you to have a BS in engineering or related field;
  • Good communication skills – able to train others;
  • Minimum of 2 years with the automotive or industrial manufacturing industry;
  • BS in Engineering;
  • Bachelor’s degree in some form of engineering or equivalent work experience;
  • Some lifting, stretching, climbing involved when assisting in troubleshooting equipment issues;
  • Strong management, leadership and organizational skills are required;
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs;
  • A solid manufacturing excellence/TPM background;
  • Light physical effort in using PC keyboard, handling department reports, etc.
