Principal Quality Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Principal Quality Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Afloat and Ashore Planned Maintenance (PMS) Planning via SKED;
- Navy Training programs;
- Augment field teams as required to support maintenance availability periods and deployments;
- Navy Quality Assurance Inspector (QAI) Certified;
- Ensure Standard Operating procedures supporting QA and Safety processes are adequate and current;
- Assist with reports and charts for metrics;
- Navy Personal Qualification Standards (PQS) QAI;
- Travel to overseas locations (up to 25%);
- Afloat and Ashore Corrective Maintenance;
- Perform and inspect maintenance checks as instructed by the maintenance manager;
- Navy Quality Assurance/Control;
- Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place;
- Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction;
- May be certified in lean and six-sigma methodologies;
- Reports on quality performance and trending data to drive process improvements.
Requirements:
- NAVY MFOM experience;
- Navy Quality Assurance Officer (QAO) Certified;
- 3M Coordinator;
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance;
- Ship’s Safety Officer;
- Experience with MS Excel; Basic knowledge of MS Project;
- Knowledgeable in the handling and disposal of hazardous material operations;
- Work Center Supervisor;
- Navy Quality Assurance Inspector (QAI) Certified;
- Master Training Specialist (MTS);
- Knowledge/use of the Navy’s Maintenance Systems such as SKED and MFOM.
