Quality Assurance Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Must follow Organization policies and contribute towards the goal of achieving Production targets within set timelines;
- Review lot coding and tracking of individual Cannabis plants and the resultant harvested bulk and finished Cannabis products;
- Review testing raw data, analytical reports and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) of each Cannabis product batch prior to its release for sale;
- Assist auditors with inventory, sales and compliance audits;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Support the Document Control process as needed;
- Maintain Quality records per standard operating procedures;
- Investigation of any non-conforming events (NCE) identified during record review, CAPA investigations and complaint investigations;
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds;
- Frequently required to stand or sit;
- Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds;
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms;
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Requirements:
- Experience in cell-based therapeutics or biopharmaceuticals;
- Experience in ERP, MS Office Suite and additional technical proficiency;
- 3+ years’ professional experience in Quality Assurance/Control in a production environment;
- Preferred knowledge of plant chemistry, extraction and formulation systems, and chromatographic techniques;
- This job requires weekend, holiday and off shift work hours;
- Minimum 2 year experience in the Quality field;
- Ability to prioritize projects and adapt to shifting priorities;
