Our company is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Must follow Organization policies and contribute towards the goal of achieving Production targets within set timelines;
  • Review lot coding and tracking of individual Cannabis plants and the resultant harvested bulk and finished Cannabis products;
  • Review testing raw data, analytical reports and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) of each Cannabis product batch prior to its release for sale;
  • Assist auditors with inventory, sales and compliance audits;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Support the Document Control process as needed;
  • Maintain Quality records per standard operating procedures;
  • Investigation of any non-conforming events (NCE) identified during record review, CAPA investigations and complaint investigations;
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds;
  • Frequently required to stand or sit;
  • Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds;
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms;
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Requirements:

  • Experience in cell-based therapeutics or biopharmaceuticals;
  • Experience in ERP, MS Office Suite and additional technical proficiency;
  • 3+ years’ professional experience in Quality Assurance/Control in a production environment;
  • Preferred knowledge of plant chemistry, extraction and formulation systems, and chromatographic techniques;
  • This job requires weekend, holiday and off shift work hours;
  • Minimum 2 year experience in the Quality field;
  • Ability to prioritize projects and adapt to shifting priorities;
