Our company is looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate multiple technologies with Salesforce/Force.com;
  • Architect, design, and develop advanced customizations utilizing Salesforce and Force.com;
  • Mentor junior team members in Salesforce technology, Force.com, Integration Technologies, and Salesforce best practices;
  • Running workshops, working closely with client, able to talk about tradeoffs e.g. terms of config vs code;
  • You’ll be responsible for environment management;
  • Serves as the technical expert on Rainmaker projects focused on Salesforce – Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and the Force.com platform;
  • Follow and promote design and coding standards, policies and procedures, and test code to make sure quality of solution components is up to scratch;
  • Develop software using these languages: Apex, Visualforce, Aurora, and JavaScript;
  • Ongoing documentation throughout the development;
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to other team members, including offshore team members;
  • Design, configure & customize the Salesforce and come up with effective project execution techniques;
  • Use the Force.com platform to identify, analyze and develop functionality, and take certifications to keep improving your skills;
  • Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons and version control;
  • Knowledge of Service Cloud and understanding of Salesforce data model/architecture to be able to assist in designing business applications;
  • Document IT work instruction document for deployment and release management within Gilead.

Requirements:

  • A background in development and/or configuration on other CRM platforms (examples: Microsoft Dynamics, Siebel, Zoho) will be preferred;
  • At minimum of 2 years of experience developing Salesforce customizations (Apex/VF), integrations, and to develop and execute data migrations;
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
  • Combination of business analysis and technology implementation experience;
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment;
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
  • Experienced in estimating software development;
  • Should have some experience in planning and release management;
  • Preferred if the candidate has experience in both Classic and Lightening salesforce instances;
  • Should have experience working in onshore/offshore model;
  • Experience with Agile or similar development methodologies;
  • You’ve got experience with SQL and databases;
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship;
  • At least 3 years’ experience of Salesforce Development;
  • You’ve got experience with Salesforce or other CMR Applications, and either Salesforce Admin or a Developer Certification.
