SDET Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a SDET Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test plan, test cases, defects;
- Work very closely with Dev team and other team members to identify issues early in s/w life cycle;
- Execute manual and automated test cases on each build;
- Deploy and maintain builds in QA environment;
- Write automation for new features. Add tests to Java based Continuous Integration test framework;
- Collaborate well with clients, team members and product owner.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of test scripts and tools;
- Great communication skills: verbal, written, listening;
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies;
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities;
- Jenkins knowledge;
- UNIX, Linux, or Mac background;
- Experience with Docker;
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk;
- Very good understanding of data services (back-end applications) and web services;
- Very good understanding of relational database. Experience with Oracle is preferable;
- Very good understanding of Java;
- A passion for providing excellent service to all internal and external customers.
