Our company is looking for a Senior Associate Software Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and utilize ground breaking technologies in the industry to meet scientific business needs;
- Build systems to enable end-to-end technology solutions;
- Help shape the technology portfolio through software engineering contributions and the implementation of IS solutions;
- Ensure effective communication between our business partners, technical staff and vendors;
- Enforce to standard methodologies for testing and designing reusable code;
- Provide technical write-ups and drawings to promote the proposed solutions;
- Review functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements;
- Collaborate with the other engineering team members to ensure all services are reliable, maintainable, and well-integrated into existing platforms.
Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science;
- Experience in relational database fundamentals;
- Associate’s degree & 6 years of Information Systems experience;
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Life Sciences;
- Proficiency in software development languages including but not limited to Java, .Net and C#
- Experience in Software Engineering and Development;
- Bachelor’s degree & 2 years of Information Systems experience;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- High school diploma / GED & 8 years of Information Systems experience;
- Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies;
- Knowledge of, or experience in, Life, Physical or Computational Sciences;
- Strong learning agility, ability to pick up new technologies;
- Experience working with container technologies (e.g., Docker) and developing micro-services;
- Experience in Cloud (AWS, Databricks platforms) and High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
