Responsibilities:
- Participate in educational activities;
- Responsible for material and equipment procurement;
- This position requires 50% to 65% travel throughout the US. The remaining office time is focused on engineering design for projects assigned;
- Complete wiring and/or provide technical direction to craft labor for installation of new generator excitation and protection and controls equipment;

Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a technician or engineer working with complex electromechanical, optical, micro/nanofludics platforms;
- Comfortable working in fast paced, dynamic, start-up tech company environment;
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment maintaining production equipment;
- Ability to lift up to 75lb;
- Electrician with trade or vocational training;
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Understanding of and ability to implement electrical drawings, connection drawings, interconnection drawings, and schematics;
- Seven to ten years of experience in design or field service engineering is desired;
- Industrial or power plant experience required;
- General knowledge of chemistry/biology;
- Experience training team members in technical disciplines;
- Technical curiosity and desire to solve problems;
- Experience in medical workplace settings;
