Our company is looking for a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responds to requests, identifies conflicts, and makes recommendations where needed;
- Applies advanced analytical skills within functional area to decompose work into manageable value-based units;
- Performs other related duties as assigned;
- Demonstrates a strong familiarity with business processes that are in their area of business focus;
- Builds strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solution;
- Uses knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gaps;
- Contributes to the application testing process (directly or to support end users);
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems;
- Creates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project framework;
- Maintains a familiarity with market trends in technology;
- Establishes and manages effective customer relationships with users of business, financial and operations systems, as well as technical team members;
- Assists with developing the methods and procedures required to identify whether current business goals and objectives meet organizational needs;
- Plans, designs and recommends business processes to improve and support business activities;
- Performs root cause analysis and application resolution;
- Keeps abreast of new Tools & Technology and functionalities across the application(s).
Requirements:
- Expertise with Oracle PeopleSoft v9.x HR and/or Finance/Supply chain application modules;
- Demonstrated experience with PS Query, SQL;
- 5+ years of experience;
- 2-3 years of experience requirements gathering, analyzing and documenting with SharePoint, Web Application, Intranet or Internet development projects;
- 1 year of experience with SharePoint 2010/2013 enterprise implementations preferred Exposure to agile development methodologies;
- High School Grad / GED;
- Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience;
- Experience on at least two (2) major PeopleSoft implementations or upgrades.
