Our company is looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Presenting to the client a recommended integration and implementation plan;
  • Seeking opportunities to engage client decision makers and influencers in discussions that lead to billable client engagements;
  • Developing Statements of Work to define agreements for specified work and related charges;
  • Monitor Service health, build telemetry where needed and improve monitoring;
  • Enable PG workloads to migrate to Azure where possible;
  • Prioritize and plan feature team deliverables with product owner and scrum master to deliver optimal Lab and Data Center solutions;
  • Completes tasks in diagnosing and fixing system and application problems;
  • Creating traceability matrices of requirements to test cases;
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree;
  • Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity;
  • Provides input to technical lead on schedules and time estimates;
  • Requires two (2) years of work experience using scripting languages: Perl and/or Python;
  • Ability to occasionally work non-standard hours to accommodate business needs;
  • Work with external teams to integrate with their systems;
  • Power system software testing, integration, and tuning.

Requirements:

  • Experience working directly with development on the design and architecture of services and applications used by the engineering system;
  • Experience with software and hardware procurement processes (business case development, purchasing, acquisition, implementation, and tracking);
  • Windows Server/Azure/AWS;
  • Experience with routing protocols, data center network fabric architecture and designs;
  • Developing in cloud environments with containers and microservices;
  • Full Stack experience;
  • Knowledge of PKI and associated concepts (CA, CRL, CDP, AIA, Root, HSM, etc);
  • Familiarity with industry standards and requirements (NIST, Webtrust for Publicly trusted certificates, Baseline Requirements or SOX);
  • Knowledge of Security Requirements and guidelines of Identity Systems such as Multi-factor Auth, Provisioning, Credentials etc;
  • Previous expertise working in a compliance-focused setting;
  • Passionate about making others successful;
  • Proven track record of getting hands dirty to fix problems and d rive dependencies;
  • 7+ years of professional optical engineering, network engineering or development experience;
  • Experience with Python, REST, YAML, and Workflow systems;
  • Work with external teams to integrate with their systems.
