Senior Solutions Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues reported by clients (generally involving clients’ monitoring tools);
- Serve as a subject matter expert by recommending best practices and providing use cases that solve customers’ needs and goals;
- Develop and document requirements, specifications, use cases, and new product features;
- Coordinate between LeapYear’s team and the world’s leading healthcare and financial services companies as the client’s main point of contact;
- Collaborate with our partners during the onboarding phase to ensure our methodologies and high-quality levels are maintained;
- Drive product usability and acceptance;
- Mentor developers & junior architects in best practices and encourage the flow of information and understanding amongst teams;
- Actively engage with Account Executives to develop opportunities;
- Design business processes that formalize existing activities, in relation to specific business problems;
- Educate customers on the capabilities of the Red Hat solutions portfolio and conduct live demonstrations of the solutions;
- Define work packages and introduce best practices to be implemented by our partners and clients;
- Drive, coach and manage small teams of developers;
- Gain deep understanding of customer environments and cases and serve as an advocate for customer priorities with the Business team;
- Discover and analyze the business and technical problems of our customers and connect these problems to the appropriate Red Hat solutions;
- Build trusted relationships with customer technical associates and leadership.
Requirements:
- Experience utilizing popular Enterprise Architecture tools and methodologies;
- Time management with the ability to manage multiple streams;
- Enterprise Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture;
- Familiarity with data science process, machine learning, data architecture, and IT systems;
- Non-Relational databases, NoSQL;
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage enterprise customer relationships;
- Knowledge of software engineering, integration, cloud computing and data architecture;
- Knowledge of one or more of the following database technologies NoSQL – MongoDB, Redis, Apache Cassandra;
- Knowledge of FedRAMP process, cybersecurity and understanding of all phases of Risk Assessment process;
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Technology;
- Fluency in English with impeccable communication skills;
- Experience with web services and databases such as, but not limited to: REST, SOAP, Oracle, MS/SQL;
- 5+ years of experience with designing software, applications and systems;
- Authorized to work in the US (Appway is not an E-Verify employer);
- Experience with designing cloud-ready, independent applications and systems using open source products.
