Senior Staff Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- 3D modeling of project components or structures for visualization of complex features;
- Perform construction observation and materials testing;
- Supervising and performing field operations;
- Coordinating schedules;
- Proposal development;
- Draft technical reports;
- The position requires travel;
- Willingness to travel is required; some overnight travel should be expected;
- Field observations and materials testing during construction;
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks including office and field work;
- Preparing logs and assigning and reviewing soil laboratory tests;
- Performing geotechnical engineering analysis;
- Defining the subsurface investigation and testing programs;

Requirements:
- Proficiency in C++ programming language;
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation;
- 7+ years of experience in software application design and architecture;
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening;
- Physical ability to negotiate construction sites, enter trenches, climb ladders and work outside;
- Prior professional work or summer intern work in a related field is desirable;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Successful completion of the E.I.T;
- Experience in medical device domain and FDA regulation is a plus;
- Experience in model driven software development;
- Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check;
- Demonstrated ability to architect high quality software;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and data management computer programs;
- Entry-level applicants and those with up to 3 years of experience will be considered for this position.
