Senior Technical Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Technical Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison between CWS and external teaming partners for all technical matters;
- Submit change requests for new and ongoing projects;
- Drafting After Action Reports;
- Lead a work stream or act as a team lead and manage non-complex components of the work plan/project;
- Respond to service tickets for service incidents and service requests;
- Provide guidance and support for Information System Security Officer (ISSO) related tasks;
- Utilize analytical, process, and/or technical skills to meet project objectives and deliverables that are self-directed and within project scope;
- Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains;
- Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation.
Requirements:
- Must be very knowledgeable with regard to SharePoint implementations and Web site solutions in government organizations;
- Knowledge of information technologies (Database, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure, Networks, Web & Integration software);
- Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities;
- Minimum of 10 year experience in advanced technologies including a minimum of 5+ years as a technical architect;
- Develop user interface, middle-tier business components, and database layer solutions;
- Experience with configuration and Akamai, Luna Dashboard;
- Experience with Remedy, GitHub Circle CI;
- Mobile Application Development Experience preferred;
- Must be very knowledgeable with ISO 20k processes and implementation;
- Experience in the concepts and methodologies of enterprise architecture (i.e., Zachman Framework, TOGAF, etc) and application architecture;
- Experience in implementing a SharePoint site from customer’s architecture design;
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical field;
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent (Advanced degree desired);
- System Upgrade and Security Compliance management for Azure, SharePoint and Drupal 8;
- Proficient in time management, attention to detail, and adaptability depending on circumstances.
