SQL Server Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a SQL Server Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop best practices for database design and development activities;
- Understanding of SQL Server 2008, 2012 and 2014 applications;
- Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures;
- Support Patching for SQL Server Operating Systems;
- Basic understanding of SQL Server storage architecture;
- Design, create, and implement database systems based on customer requirements;
- Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development;
- Create SQL Server databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance;
- Ensures compliance with governance policies, information architecture and other organizational policies;
- Competent in Oracle and SQL Server Management Studio scripting language;
- Performs other related assignments as needed;
- Good understanding of Data Cube management and design.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience with MS SQL or Oracle SQL development;
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
- Azure;
- SSRS;
- SQL Server;
- Power BI;
- Experience with SharePoint 2013 preferred;
- Strong communication skills required;
- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or relevant Technical / Business experience;
- T-SQL;
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team members.
