Sr. Data Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Data Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Directly building and maintaining the codebase underlying the most complex parts of our data model;
- Meeting with stakeholders to deeply understand needs of their teams.
Requirements:
- Well versed in a general purpose programming language, preferably Python;
- Experience working with various BI tools and Google Sheets;
- Highly proficient in SQL;
- Experience utilizing workflow management platforms like Airflow preferred;
- Flexible, pragmatic, value-add, stakeholder-oriented mindset;
- Understanding of AWS resourcing, specifically S3 and EC2/EMR preferred;
- At least a few years of experience in the data modeling space with deep understanding of tradeoffs and key decisions teams can make.
