Our company is looking for a Systems Analyst II to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned;
  • Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan;
  • Operational Support: Provide on-call support for a shift time period in a 24×7 environment on a rotational basis. Typically, every 4-6 weeks;
  • Tool Development: Supports and extends a wide variety of internal and external tools used within the ConVergence Point service model;
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation;
  • Analyzes business use of existing systems to identify problem to be resolved and defines system applications or process improvements;
  • Support the system installation through the implementation cycle;
  • Coordinates implementation and upgrades of system;
  • Translates users needs into Detail Requirement specifications;
  • Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations;
  • Performs Configuration analysis for system design associated with small and less complex projects. Analyzes system problems and modifications;
  • Prepare and implement procedures for downtime, end-users, production, and help desk.

Requirements:

  • Position requires a bachelors degree typically in Computer Science and 6 to 8 years of relevant experience;
  • Customer service orientated with strong communication skills;
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to work independently and balance daily operations and projects;
  • Experience in healthcare or health insurance industry;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Knowledge and awareness of standard IT practices for quality control and audit trails;
  • Ability to create functional specifications consumable by software developers;
  • 4 + years’ experience dealing with multi-terabyte data warehousing environment, OLAP and decision support tools a plus;
  • Low to Midlevel programming skills with a 3rd generation programming language;
  • 4 + years ETL (Oracle SQL Loader, Microsoft SQL DTS Packages, etc.);
  • Must have Hospital Resolute experience with operational experience as well;
  • Certified in Professional Resolute, Hospital Resolute, Claims;
  • At least 2 years of EPIC build experience, ideally revenue cycle operational experience;
  • Familiarity with applicable operating systems used by the Hospital and data processing techniques and practices;
  • Familiarity with a variety of hardware and software environments.
