Concrete Worker Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Concrete Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Wash away excess concrete;
- Prepare surface with hammer and chose;
- Level concrete using special blades, making sure all lumps and bubbles are smoothed over;
- Use machines that vibrate concrete to fill air pockets;
- Use groovers and hand trowels to spread concrete;
- Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure the concrete poured is level;
- Use wood or plastic forms to shape the concrete and hold it until it is set;
- Finish corners by hand;
- Rub cement in with sponge-rubber float or burlap;
- Apply latex and epoxy to floors;
- Arrange the concrete forms.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and self-motivated;
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety;
- Drug free at all times;
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools;
- Have the ability and knowledge to read prints;
- High standard of integrity and professionalism;
- 2+ years of experience in commercial/industrial concrete finishing;
- 4 years of experience in commercial/industrial concrete finishing.
