Our company is looking for a Electrical Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine the cause of mechanical breakdowns on manufacturing equipment and return equipment to proper operating order in minimum time;
  • Order spare parts, replacement parts and other materials required through group leader, stockroom, or supervisor;
  • Work with minimal supervision in a team environment;
  • Maintain required maintenance logs, time sheets, blue prints on other documents used in performing maintenance functions;
  • Completely assemble or disassemble production lines or support equipment as required for repairs or installations;
  • Complete all required safety work orders and report back to supervisor upon completion;
  • Communicate and work effectively and positively with all co-workers;
  • Make all necessary mechanical and basic electrical adjustments to production lines or support equipment to insure proper operation;
  • Assist and train other maintenance personnel;
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting on; AC & DC motor drives, distribution panels, solenoids, relays, and other related devices;
  • Follow all safety guidelines for lockout / tag out set forth by department and plant.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail required;
  • Able to read blue prints, specifications and building plans;
  • Able to organize time effectively;
  • Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds;
  • High school diploma or equivalent (AAS in Mechanical/Electrical field preferred);
  • Able to work overtime as required;
  • Able to work effectively with co-workers in a team environment;
  • 2-5 years industrial maintenance experience.
