Our company is looking for a Electrical mechanical maintenance technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled;
  • Set up and operate, drill press, grinder, welder and other metal working tools;
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic equipment, and PLC controls;
  • Keep an inventory of all supplies and materials and sees that replacements are requisitioned in event of a supervisor absence;
  • Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and follows the guidelines closely;
  • Functions with minimal supervision in a teamwork orientated environment;
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform preventative / predictive / reactive maintenance within the facility;
  • Inspect complex manufacturing equipment during operation to identify potential failures;
  • Possess the ability to read understand, and use mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and other working plan prints used in maintenance;
  • Work the hours required by the job in keeping all equipment ready for operation at all times, even if a break-down should occur;
  • Support production requirements;
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work done;
  • Follow all LOTO (lock out tag out) procedures and all other associated safety / operational rules;
  • Document repairs / PM-s;
  • Accurately use different measuring devices including: tape measures, calipers, micrometers, scales, gauges, and meters.

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow complex instructions with minimal supervision;
  • Computer experience required;
  • Proficiency in electrical systems including ability to understand electrical prints;
  • Experience in working with industrial power including 480-volt 3 phase power;
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED and Valid Driver-s License;
  • Ability to work as a team to solve complex problems;
  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, technical school or on the job training;
  • Strong hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills required;
  • PLC programming experience a plus including RSLogix 5/500, RSLogix 5000;
  • 5 years electrical / mechanical troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting.
