Our company is looking for a Journeyman Plumber to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Testing pipes by filling them with water or air and reads gauges to determine whether system is working accurately;
  • Affix clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, welds, etc. to pipes and tubes;
  • Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper functioning;
  • Keep detailed notes and create work reports documenting projects;
  • Confirm pipe system is air/watertight by performing pressure tests;
  • Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes;
  • Assembles fittings and valves for installation;
  • Invoice customers via tablet and collect payments;
  • Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building;
  • Knowledge of tankless water heaters is appreciated;
  • Writes a report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken;
  • Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation;
  • Unloading and carrying materials to the jobsite;
  • Installing fittings and components above and in ground;
  • We do NOT provide training, must have experience.

Requirements:

  • High standard of integrity and professionalism;
  • Drug free at all times;
  • 4 years of plumbing experience;
  • Experience reading technical designs and blueprints;
  • Valid plumbing license;
  • Available to work on call and respond immediately to plumbing emergencies;
  • Expert knowledge in piping and ventilation systems;
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems;
  • 4 years of plumbing experience in commercial/industrial work;
  • 2 years of plumbing experience;
  • Tools of your trade;
  • Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts;
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test;
  • OSHA a plus or will be provided;
  • Drug free at all times and have a valid driver’s license.
