Our company is looking for a Licensed Electrician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on industrial equipment and systems;
  • Proactively preparing for upcoming work;
  • Ordering required parts and controlling all job materials using our computer system;
  • Installing fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems;
  • Installing conduit and wire, terminating conductors;
  • Maintaining a clean work area at all times;
  • Interacting with various individuals at different levels within the company;
  • Completing work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfaction;
  • Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code;
  • Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order;
  • Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools;
  • Other duties as requested;
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards;
  • Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation;
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code.

Requirements:

  • Five years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in an industrial setting;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Superior problem-solving skill;
  • A desire for continuous improvement;
  • A valid “C” class drivers license with a clean driving record;
  • A valid California State Certified Journeyman Electrician license;
  • Solid knowledge of California Electrical Code;
  • References that will verify your professional skills and experience;
  • Minimum five years of experience on commercial sites;
  • OSHA 10 within the past 5 years is required;
  • Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite;
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area;
  • Solid knowledge of the Texas Electrical Code;
  • A valid Texas State Certified Journeyman Electrician license;
  • Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving record.
