Our company is looking for a Pipe cutter and Fitters to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting or boring holes in structures;
- Troubleshooting problems;
- Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems or pipelines;
- Drawing layouts to scale while studying blueprints and following relevant codes;
- Measuring and marking pipes for cutting or threading;
- Cutting, threading, or hammering pipes using various power and hand tools.
Requirements:
- An in-depth understanding of state and local building codes;
- Minimum five years’ experience in commercial construction industry required;
- Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time and to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds;
- Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to jobsites;
- References to verify your professional skills and experience;
- Proper S1 or S2 license in the state of CT required;
- Strong work ethic with a positive and calm mindset;
- OSHA 10 within the past five years required.
