Our company is looking for a Roofer Journeyman to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Cutting felt, shingles, or strips of flashing to fit angles formed by walls, vents, or intersecting roof surfaces;
  • Removing snow, water, or debris from roofs prior to applying roofing materials;
  • Installing vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs, and sealing the seams;
  • Working on low-slope or steep-slope roofs sometimes both;
  • Inspecting problem roofing to determine the best repair procedures;
  • Inspecting problem roofingto determine the best repair procedures;
  • Osha 30 is required;
  • Reliable transportation preferred but not required;
  • We do NOT provide training, must have experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts;
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism;
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation;
  • Ability to comprehend, construct, and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and shop drawings for the task being done;
  • Ability to install different types of roofing systems such as: TPO, PVC, EPDM rubber, built-ups, Bitumen, metal and dura-last roofing;
  • Drug free at all times;
  • 4 years of commercial roofing experience;
  • Must be willing to complete OSHA-10 safety training which we will provide;
  • 4 years of commercial and/or residential roofing experience;
  • Five years of roofing experience;
  • Drug free at all times (CCS program);
  • 5+ years of commercial roofing experience;
  • We do NOT provide training, must have experience.
