Sheet Metal Fabricator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations;
- Connecting motors to control panels and balancing motors to insure efficient operation and connecting control panels to power source;
- Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine;
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures safely and correctly;
- Work with team to ensure product targets and deadlines are met;
- Measure, cut, bend, and fasten thin pieces of sheet metal to specifications using tools and machines;
- Use hand tools, electronic and manual equipment, and machinery to construct sheet metal into finished products.
Requirements:
- High standard of integrity and professionalism;
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation;
- Reliable transportation to/from jobsite;
- Drug free at all times;
- Solid knowledge and understanding of system operation, building plans and working drawings;
- 4 years of experience as Sheet Metal Fabricator.
