Our company is looking for a Solar Installer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Additional tasks / skills include driving the company van, keeping working environments clean and organized, and much more;
- Installation of solar electric systems on homes and commercial buildings;
- Electrically wire solar AC/DC system;
- Assemble the racking and solar array;
- Cleaning work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site;
- Electrical wiring of solar array/system;
- Assemble equipment along with properly sealing all roof penetrations;
- Maintain a clean work site;
- Setting/Assisting post alignment;
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures;
- Maintain tools used for installation in proper working condition;
- Receiving, stocking, and maintaining an accurate inventory of all materials;
- Installation of posts;
- Install solar panels at various sites;
- Installation of racking systems.
Requirements:
- High standard of integrity and professionalism;
- Drug free at all times;
- Be able to lift 50+pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday;
- Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts;
- Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces;
- Provide personal transportation to and from the jobsite;
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule;
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization;
- Must have reliable transportation and a phone;
- Must be able to pass pre-employment 10 panel drug screen;
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used on utility-scale construction projects;
- Ability to work in various positions including; stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling for extended periods of time;
- Minimum age 18;
- 6 months of RBI Installing Experience required;
- NABCEP certification, preferred but not required.
