Our company is looking for a Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate standard reporting;
  • High volume data entry (Proficient user of SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word);
  • Provide written correspondence to customers;
  • Gather credit information;
  • Will be responsible for making outbound calls to current business customers and always providing excellent phone etiquette;
  • May retrieve and review billing system reports to identify delinquent accounts;
  • Update account profiles with new billing/account information;
  • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent;
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries;
  • Processing all credit applications for terms and creating accounts within company software;
  • Ensure timely receipts of payments and postings to customer accounts;
  • Logging in/recording of revenue and credit card transactions;
  • Submission of customer statements, invoice, credit memo’s to customers;
  • Documents credit and collections activity for assigned accounts;
  • Enters customer service agreements into the Company’s data tracking systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1+ year(s) of recent and stable experience is a must;
  • Strong mathematical skills;
  • Proficient knowledge of credit balances and 1st party business to business collections (Accounts Receivables);
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Solid User of SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word;
  • Must possess a CAN DO attitude;
  • Excellent writing and organization skills;
  • Must maintain a valid driver license and auto insurance coverage;
  • Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures;
  • Excellent skills are essential (Microsoft Office: Excel, Work, Outlook);
  • Detail oriented and the ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues;
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Must be professional and have good job stability.
