Early Childhood Education Teacher Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of each child enrolled in the class whether in the classroom, on the playground, or in common areas;
- Encourage children’s development in the areas of building self-confidence, problem solving, and taking responsibility for their actions;
- Treat each child with dignity and respect;
- Interact with each child on a daily basis through circle time, centers, snacks, lunchtime, playground, free play, etc;
- Serve as a role model for the children in the areas of attitude, speech and actions on a daily basis;
- Maintain regular observation and evaluation of children’s development and progress as directed by administration.
Requirements:
- Socio-dramatic play is encouraged at our Make Believe Boulevard®;
- Preschoolers are introduced to Fun With Phonics®, an early reading program;
- Preschoolers are also introduced to a foreign language for the first time with our L.E.A.P. into Spanish® or L.E.A.P. into Mandarin® program;
- Vital cognitive skills, such as matching, sequencing, storytelling, and writing are all incorporated into the preschooler’s daily routine.
