English Tutor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a English Tutor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Tutor students in English and/or mathematics in grade levels from pre-K to 11th grade;
- Maintain student progress reports;
- Grade homework assignments, tests, and/or essays (no work is required outside of class time).
Requirements:
- College sophomore or higher majoring in English, math, education, or related field;
- Special consideration for those who want to be teachers;
- Ability to follow instructions and work as a team member;
- Ability to work independently and teach the class on his/her own;
- Experience in a tutorial program preferred, but not required. We provide training;
- Ability to deal with students in a caring and confident manner.
