Group Teacher Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Group Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Program Implementation- provide print rich environment, provide positive guidance for children, and implement daily lesson plans;
- Assessment system- complete and maintain observations and other running records, able to navigate Teaching Strategies GOLD online (assessment system);
- Confidentiality-maintain all staff and family information confidentiality;
- Fulfill roles as mandated reporter as stated in Child Abuse and Neglect Polices;
- Perform any other work-related duties as requested by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children ages 2-4 years old;
- A 2.5 minimum culminate undergraduate GPA;
- NYS Professional ECE Certification (Birth-Grade 2) or Valid NYS Permanent Certification B-2 or N-6;
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Masters preferred.
